Rolling registration for 2026 WPGA Play Days begins Wednesday
By Josh Rowntree, Director of Communications • March 3, 2026
The Western Pennsylvania Golf Association is pleased to announce the return of WPGA Play Days for the 2026 golf season.
WPGA Play Days offer Association members the opportunity to explore WPGA member clubs and courses in a relaxed, enjoyable, and non-competitive environment while paying an affordable rate.
Unlike a competition, players can pick their group and tee time and select the tee markers they would like to play from. This is a great opportunity to meet new players or get your regular group together to play a quality golf course at a great price.
Any golfer with an active GHIN membership will have an opportunity to participate in the 47 scheduled Play Days in 2026.
There will be rolling registration via Golf Genius for the events throughout the spring and summer, with registration for the first six Play Days opening on March 4 at 9 a.m. EST.
Play Days are currently scheduled for the following sites:
Nemacolin Resort’s Mystic Rock (April 8, May 11, June 22, July 16, August 10, September 7, October 22)

Registration opens for individual WPGA Play Days about one month in advance of the scheduled date. Players must register online through our Event Registration Portal. Registration will be left open for two weeks.
All Play Days that fill before the close of the registration deadline will be subject to a lottery system that randomly selects which groups will be admitted into the Play Day. Players will receive a confirmation email if they are chosen through the lottery. Play Days that do not fill within the registration deadline will be reopened and additional players will be admitted on a first-come first-serve basis.
WPGA Members Only
Play Days are exclusively for WPGA Members who will be allowed to register for Play Days. WPGA Members will no longer be allowed to bring or register a guest. Players who are looking to join the WPGA need a Handicap Index® issued by an existing WPGA Member Club or can join online here.
In addition to joining the WPGA, each player looking to register will need an account on our Golf Genius Tournament Management software. You can create the account by going to the following link and clicking "Sign In/Register" in the top right corner.
Group Registration
Groups of 1 to 4 players will be allowed to register. If you plan on playing with a foursome, please be sure to register all 4 players together.
Once the lottery for each Play Day has been processed, no additional players may be added. If your registration has less than 4 players, your group may be paired with another registration.
If you have any questions regarding the WPGA Play Days, feel free to email our Play Days account at playdays@wpga.org or call the Association offices.
For any media inquiries, please contact WPGA Director of Communications Josh Rowntree.
