APOLLO — Willowbrook Country Club will host Western Pennsylvania’s final USGA qualifying round of 2025 Monday.

The U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying round will place two teams into next year’s 10th U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship, to be contested May 16-22, 2026, at Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. A pair of alternate spots will be earned Monday, as well.

Several regulars in WPGA competitions will be competing Monday, including 40th WPGA Mid-Amateur champion Darin Kowalski, who will team up with Kevin Fajt. The duo claimed the 83rd WPGA Four-Ball Championship in 2024.

Notre Dame alum Patrick Kelly will combine with fellow Erie-area native Evan Rowan in the first group, which will tee off at 8:30 a.m.

Amani D’Ambrosio and Jack Wymard, who claimed the 71st WPGA Brand Foursomes Championship, will begin on the 10th tee at 9:35 a.m. and will be in a group featuring Bradlee Frank and former Penguins minor league hockey player Nick Sorkin.

Twin brothers Ronald and David DeNunzio, who won the 76th WPGA Brothers Tournament this summer, will begin their round at 9:40 a.m.

Another set of brothers, Kade and Kal Logue, will be in separate teams for the competition. Kade Logue will team up with Jonathan Ogden, while Kal Logue will compete alongside Evan Cravener.

Four-Ball is a popular form of team play where each player plays his or her own ball, with the better score for each hole counting towards the team’s overall score for the round.
