Totteridge ready for final WPGA Senior Series event

GREENSBURG — The third and final WPGA Senior Series competition of the 2024 season will take place Tuesday at Totteridge Golf Course in Greensburg.
The competition features three divisions: Senior, Super-Senior and Net Senior.
The first Senior Series event took place on April 30th at Nemacolin Country Club.
The Senior Division went to Craig Sabo of Champion Lakes Golf Course with a 2-over score of 73. The Super Senior Division (age 65+) was claimed by Don Erickson with a score of 2-over.
In the Senior Net Division, Pat Petit of Manor Valley Golf Club finished with a gross score of 91 (Net adjusted to an even-par 71).
The second Senior Series, which was held at The Links at Spring Church, was a Stableford event.
Todd Renner won the Senior Division in a playoff over fellow Allegheny Country Club member Bob Crnjarich, as both players recorded 34 points. Kevin McCarthy won the Super-Senior division with 33 points and Petit claimed a second victory in the Net division with 40 points.
Previous winners in Sabo, Erickson and Petit will all compete Tuesday in Greensburg, as will 9-time West Penn Amateur champion Sean Knapp.
The format for the competition will be 18 holes of stroke play beginning at 9 a.m.
