The Honor Roll formally began in 1994. Players receive points for performance in WPGA, USGA, Pennsylvania Golf Association, and additional championships and tournaments at the discretion of the Championship Committee.
Since its inception, only three players, Arnold Cutrell, Sean Knapp, and Nathan Smith, have been named Player of the Year.
The Senior Player of the Year began in 1999 with two players winning 16 times - Bill Baloh (5) and Paul Schlachter (11).
The Junior Player of the Year also started in 1999 and two players have won the award multiple times. William Miller won three times and Easton Renwick twice. Miller also won the Amateur Championship while a Junior, and Renwick went on to win both the Amateur and Open Championships.
