2019 WPGA Play Day Registration Will Open April 1
By WPGA • March 15, 2019
In 2019, the WPGA will again offer Association members the opportunity to play in WPGA Play Days. At just $45 dollars per player, unless otherwise noted, the main goal of WPGA Play Days is to give players of any skill level a chance to explore different WPGA Member Clubs at an affordable rate in an enjoyable, relaxed, and non-competitive environment. Unlike a competition, players can pick their group and tee time and select the tee markers they would like to play from.
Throughout the season, there will be a total of between 20 and 30 scheduled WPGA Play Days at different Member Clubs throughout western Pennsylvania. The first WPGA Play Day of 2019 will be hosted by Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, PA on April 29th, and players will have the option to play either Mystic Rock or Shepard’s Rock. The schedule will end at Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, PA on October 15.
Registration will begin on April 1, and an individual WPGA Member can also sign up one guest – a GHIN number is not required for the guest. WPGA Members must register online using our Player Registration Portal. Once registered, the player can call the club no sooner than two weeks in advance to set up their tee time. The payment for the scheduled round will be made at the host club and includes cart fees.
Players who are looking to join the WPGA need a Handicap Index® issued by an existing WPGA Member Club or an Association-sponsored Type 3 Golf Club.
